Knowing the importance of using pure, natural ingredients for our bodies to absorb, our formulas are effective and contain only organic, wild-crafted ingredients from sustainable sources that are better for you and better for the environment.
ANGAN is born from the rooted cultural rituals of Iceland – bathing in natural geothermal pools ,the arctic ocean and using old remedies with wild, hand picked arctic botanicals that have been used for centuries to nourish and cure the skin.
You are the focus of ANGAN. Our mission is to remind you to take care of yourself, nurture yourself, remember yourself, pamper yourself and thereby create a foundation of mental serenity, balance and feel more confident.
I am Iris Laxdal, the founder, nature lover, formulator and creator behind ANGAN. My journey is filled with years of education, research and study from being an architect to becoming a natural skincare formulator.
I was originally working as an architect, but I was not giving myself the time to nurture my body and mind which led to a burnout and I was covered in rashes as result of stress.
I realized that I had to do something for myself to care for my body and my mind and slowly this became the baby steps towards what is now ANGAN.
When I was not able to find the right products for my sensitive skin that does not include synthetics and known irritants, I knew I had to create my own. By turning my kitchen into a beauty lab the first products came to life.
We want you to feel confident in your own skin by using products that include pure organic and wild-harvested ingredients that calm irritation, soften, regenerate and make your skin glow.
